Amazingly friendly staff, and modern facilities. The dental hygienist was very thorough and had the softest touch while working on my mouth. The dentist was super friendly and also very knowledgeable. My wife and I were in search of a reputable practice since moving to the area about 2 years ago and think we may have found it here. I highly recommend.

What type of dentist does implants?

You may be a candidate for dental implants, but this type of procedure is typically performed by an oral surgeon, periodontist, or prosthodontist. An oral surgeon specializes in surgical procedures and can perform the implant surgery itself. A periodontist focuses on gum disease and can help to ensure that there are no underlying issues with your gums that could affect the success of a dental implant. A prosthodontist specializes in restorative dentistry and can design a crown or bridge for your dental implant. All three types of dental specialists work together to plan and successfully complete the implant procedure. It is important to consult with all of these specialists before undergoing any type of dental implant surgery.

What dentist does root canals?

Root canals are  typically performed by a dentist or endodontist. Endodontists specialize in root canals and have experience performing this type of procedure. There are many dentists who also offer root canals and will be able to perform the procedure as well. It is important to consult with your dentist or endodontist first before having a root canal.

When should a child go to the dentist for the first time?

Your pediatric dentist  or family dentist can help guide you on when to bring your child in for their first dental visit. Generally, a child should have their first dental exam by the age of one. This initial appointment is important because it helps your child establish trust with the dentist and familiarize them with the office environment. We provide more details on what to expect when visiting a pediatric dentist in this article.

How long does an appointment with a dentist take?

The length of a dental appointment can vary based on the type of procedure, as well as the complexity of the case. Generally, a routine checkup and cleaning will take around an hour. Other more involved treatments such as fillings or crowns can take anywhere from one to two hours or longer. We want you to feel comfortable and relaxed throughout your appointment, so if you have any questions or concerns about the time it will take for your procedure, please talk to us. Our team is here to help make sure that your visit is as comfortable and efficient as possible. Thank you for choosing our dental practice! We look forward to seeing you soon.

How long does a dental cleaning take?

Dental cleaning is  typically a fast and comfortable process. It usually takes about 30-45 minutes to complete, depending on the individual’s oral health status. During the visit, your dentist will remove plaque and tartar build up while also providing fluoride treatments and applying sealants if necessary.

How do I cure gum disease without a dentist?

This is a frequently asked question and the answer is not  simple. Gum disease, also known as periodontal disease, is caused by a buildup of plaque on your teeth which can lead to infection and inflammation. Without professional treatment from a dentist, it is difficult to effectively treat gum disease. Regular brushing and flossing helps prevent the buildup of plaque but these measures alone are not enough to reverse existing damage caused by gum disease.

How do I remove tartar from teeth without a dentist?

You are probably considering  removing tartar from your teeth without the help of a dentist because it can be expensive to visit one. However, there are some measures you can take at home to reduce the amount of tartar on your teeth. One way is to brush your teeth at least twice daily and floss regularly. But you should know that  brushing and flossing alone cannot remove tartar from the teeth. To effectively remove hardened tartar deposits, you will need to visit your dentist for dental cleanings that use professional tools to safely remove  tartar and polish the teeth.

How do I fix rotten teeth without a dentist?

While visiting a dentist can be a cost burden that was not budgeted for, it is  still the best option to treat rotten teeth. If this is not a possibility, there are some home remedies that can help slow the progression of decay and reduce pain associated with rot. But note that these will only  buy you time and not repair the tooth. It is important to brush your teeth regularly with fluoride toothpaste and floss between every meal. This helps remove debris from between teeth as well as any excess food that may build up. Additionally, rinsing your mouth with a tablespoon of baking soda and warm water can help reduce acidity in the mouth and neutralize any harmful bacteria.

How do I get rid of a tooth abscess without going to the dentist?

Tooth abscesses are painful infections caused by bacteria that have accumulated in the crevices between your teeth and gums. If left untreated, abscesses can cause significant damage to your oral health. Although there are home remedies that help  to reduce the pain and swelling associated with an abscess, it is important to visit your dentist as soon as possible for proper diagnosis and treatment. Your dentist can drain the infected area, prescribe antibiotics, and provide additional treatments to help clear up the infection. With prompt treatment, you can avoid long-term damage to your oral health.
